On a wilderness tour, you will explore the mangrove ecosystems surrounding Key West, and journey into the unspoiled, natural habitats of the wildlife native to the Lower Florida Keys. There are seven distinct ecosystems to explore, all with their own special flora and fauna and sea life. You will take awesome wild animal pictures on this adventure!
This area is home to many species of birds like heron, tern, osprey, hawks, eagles, cormorants, egrets and pelicans; marine animals like sea turtles, manatees, wild dolphins, and many others. Picnic on a remote mangrove island with beautiful birds and natural white beaches. What an exciting and incredible tale of exploration to take home to friends and co-workers!
Capt. Victoria was born in Key West and has been in and on the waters of the Lower Keys since birth. She knows the waters of The Key West National Wildlife Refuge intimately. She holds a Degree in Environmental Marine Science and she specializes in carefree play for children of all ages. Mother Earth spirituality is her path, which she shares with you while experiencing the phenomena of communication between wildlife species. You will have a very magical, moving experience and you will learn so much about this natural world and about yourself, as well.
